Dalam kehidupan sehari - hari kita sering menemui Flashdisk, CD dan lainnya. Namun bagaimanakah dengan dunia komputer dan informasi yang terus berkembang ? Di dalam dunia komputer, media penyimpanan yang tidak asing lagi bagi pengguna komputer. Seperti Floppy Disk, Flash Disk, Compact Disc (CD),Microfilm, Kaset. Namun tahukah kamu asal muasal dari penciptaan benda - benda tersebut ? Nah, kali ini dalam artikel ini akan dibahas asal muasal penemuan dari media penyimpanan  tersebut. 

Windows 8.1 Reveiw

From Facebook to the full-featured Mail app and modern Outlook to a "peek" bar in the modern version of Internet Explorer 11 to the new Windows Scan app to the new Bing logo, you now get nearly all of the promised Windows 8.1 extras.

We are still waiting for the touch versions of the Office apps but that's the way things work in Microsoft's new 'continuous development' world. And of course you get the interface changes and SkyDrive integration we saw in the Windows 8.1 Preview.

The start button is back, you can boot to the desktop and use the same image for your start screen as your desktop background Skydrive is built in to sync files – on both windows 8.1 and Windows 8.1 RT - as well as settings and the layout for your Start screen and desktop taskba

But Microsoft's second bite at the convergence of PCs and tablets doesn't back away from what we still want to call Metro; in fact there are more built in modern apps than in Windows 8, more settings you can change without jumping to the desktop and more options for how you place modern apps on screen. The question is how well these two worlds sit together, and how much of an improvement Microsoft has been able to deliver in a year.

Speed Test / Pengujian Kecepatan Internet

Speedtest.net is a free broadband connection analysis website founded by Ookla Net Metrics in 2006. The company is based in Kalispell, Montana. Users can test their internet speed against hundreds of geographically dispersed servers around the world. At the end of each test, users are presented with their download (the speed of data from the server to their computer) and upload (the speed of sending data from the user's computer to the server) bandwidth speeds. The tests are performed completely within the user's web browser over HTTP (just like normal web browsing). Since its inception, over 4 billion speed tests have been completed. 

Speedtest.net adalah sebuah analisa penyedia layanan internet bentuknya gratis yang dibentuk oleh Ookla Net Metrics pada tahun 2006. Perusahaan tersebut berpusat di Kalispell, Montana. Pengguna dapat menguji kecepatan internet dengan memilih geografi dari seluruh dunia. Diakhir test, pengguna akan melihat kemampuan download (Data dari server ke komputer) dan Upload (Data dari komputer menuju server) dalam bentuk kecepan internet. Pengujiannya dilakukan dengan browser dengan menggunakan HTTP (seperti pada web browser biasa). Sejak kemunculannya, telah lebih dari 4 Miliar pengujian terhadap kecepatan internet.

Fiber Optic Cable / Kabel Fiber Optik

A technology that uses glass (or plastic) threads (fibers) to transmit data. A fiber optic cable consists of a bundle of glass threads, each of which is capable of transmitting messages modulated onto light waves. 

Fiber optics has several advantages over traditional metal communications lines :

• Fiber optic cables have a much greater bandwidth than metal cables. This means that they can carry more data.
• Fiber optic cables are less susceptible than metal cables to interference.
• Fiber optic cables are much thinner and lighter than metal wires.
• Data can be transmitted digitally (the natural form for computer data) rather than analogically.

The main disadvantage of fiber optics is that the cables are expensive to install. In addition, they are more fragile than wire and are difficult to splice. Fiber optics is a particularly popular technology for local-area networks. In addition, telephone companies are steadily replacing traditional telephone lines with fiber optic cables. In the future, almost all communications will employ fiber optics

Android Platform

Android 

Android was founded by Andy Rubin (CEO Danger), Rich Miner (CEO Wildfire Communications, Inc), Nick Sears (once Vice President at T-Mobile), and Chris White (Headed design and interface development at Web-Tv) in Palo Alto, California on October 2003.Android inc, is based designed primarily for touchscreen mobile device such as smartphones and tablet computers. Google acquired Android inc, on 17 August 2005, making it wholly owned subsidiary of Google because of financially on Android Inc. Not much was known about Android Inc. at the time, but many assumed that Google was planning to enter the mobile phone market with this move. At Google, the team led by Rubin developed a mobile device platform powered by the Linux kernel. Google marketed the platform to handset makers and carriers on the promise of providing a flexible, upgradable system. Google had lined up a series of hardware component and software partners and signaled to carriers that it was open to various degrees of cooperation on their part. Android was unveiled in 2007 along with the founding of the Open Handset Alliance : a consortium of hardware, software and telecommunication companies devoted to advancing open standards for mobile device. The first Android-powered phone was sold in October 2008

Mengamankan FD (Flash Disk) dari Virus Komputer

Kadang ketika kita dari warnet untuk mengupload file atau sejenisnya atau di Lab Komputer Kampus, setibanya di rumah flashdisk terdapat tamu yang tidak diundang, biasanya virus sality. Padahal antivirus di warnet sudah pake salah satu antivirus lokal yang sudah terupdate, tetapi sering tidak terdeteksi .Akhirnya saya menemukan program untuk membantu memproteksi flashdisk.

Penggunaaan Program ini dengan Delphi 7

Untuk cara Penggunaannya : 

1. Silakan  buka notepad
2. Copy scrip dibawah/dibaca selengkapnya  lalu paste di notepad Atau Download Disini
3. Klik file save as filename ‘USBWriteableAdjuster.exe’
4. Simpan file tersebut di flashdisk .buat keamanan klik kanan file tersebut propertis general centang kata “hidden”

Trojan Virus

Virus Trojan adalah sebuah program / perangkat lunak yang dirancang untuk masuk ke dalam suatu sistem untuk mengacaukan dan merusak sistem operasi tersebut. Virus Trojan ini dapat mencuri sebuah informasi atau merusak sistem pada pengguna komputer. Virus trojan dapat masuk dengan cara melakukan penginstalan / memasukan program. Virus trojan dirancang seperti peperangan dalam bangsa yunani kuno melawan bangsa trojan, dimana didalam kuda yang dikirim oleh bangsa yunani terdapat pasukan untuk sewaktu - waktu dapat keluar sesuai dengan perhitungan waktu. Jadi virus ini dirancang yang sewaktu - waktu dapat meledak (boom) sehingga menginfeksi komputer milik pengguna.
